The location of this place was absolutely mind-blowing! It was surrounded by all the cool retail businesses, making it super convenient. The cottage itself was jaw-droppingly clean and had everything we needed for a fantastic weekend away. We loved that they allowed pets and the off-site car park was a huge plus. The wi-fi worked flawlessly, perfect for staying connected. We also appreciated having an electric kettle for our tea cravings. Plus, there were great opportunities for cycling and a nearby golf course. a top-notch experience with no smoking on site.

We were a group of friends and we had an amazing time exploring the area. We went golfing at Nicksgate and we couldn't stop laughing at our crazy golf skills, it was so much fun! And then we rented bikes and cycled all the way to Lightwater Valley Theme Park, it was an adrenaline rush like no other!

The one thing we wished for during our stay was a vibrant nightlife scene. As young party-goers, we were hoping for some cool bars or clubs where we could dance the night away.

We even had the pleasure of meeting the lovely housekeeper and the friendly host, William. We can't wait to come back next year and thank them for making our break so comfortable. I stayed at Ickle Pickle Cottage as a transit traveler, and it was perfect for my needs. The location was incredibly convenient, with the nearest airport just 39 km away at 1 Nicksgate. This made my stay hassle-free and allowed me to continue my journey smoothly. the property had all the essential amenities I required for a short stay, ensuring my comfort and convenience.

While I had a pleasant stay overall, I must mention a minor issue. As a meticulous housekeeper, I prioritize cleanliness, and I found the property to be slightly below my usual expectations in this regard.

The cottage was very clean and well-decorated, making us feel comfortable and at home. The kitchen was well-equipped, with a great hob and oven that made cooking a breeze. We also appreciated the convenience of having Netflix available for those cozy nights in. The location of the cottage was key, as it was close to town and within walking distance of all the amenities we needed. The WiFi was also excellent, allowing us to stay connected during our Easter break.

While the cottage was generally clean, there were a few areas that fell short of our expectations. The housekeeping could have been more thorough, and there were some dog hairs left behind that affected my wife's breathing.
